Membership Categories and Fees
Corporate Members can choose from an annual membership subscription or a 5 yearly membership subscription. Those members opting for the 5 yearly plan will benefit from a 6% discount.

* The Consultative Council comprises high-level key figures from industry, NGOs, governments, the United Nations and other international organizations. The biennial Council meeting is an opportunity for the members and the Association to discuss matters and concerns relating to the hydropower industry, particularly hydropower policy, as well as providing the IHA Board with an opportunity to hear what policy makers feel are the challenges facing hydropower.

Membership fees are payable on 31 March each year.

Individual Life-time Membership Option

Individual life-time membership is a one-off payment charged at GBP 500. This membership term should be for life, unless in the opinion of the Board the behavior of the member is incompatible with the interests of the association, and the Board gives notice to the member to this effect (Constitution: clause 3.9.4.).
