Claire NAKABUGO

Knowledge Building Intern 

Claire joined the hydropower development work programme in January 2019. Her work focuses on building and sharing knowledge on sustainable hydropower development, working on topics such as climate resilience, sediment management and river basin development.

Claire holds a master’s degree in Water Science, Policy and Management from the University of Oxford. Her academic research background focussed on climate modelling and disaster risk management. Claire also has experience in storm water and sediment monitoring within the Lake Victoria Basin having worked as a hydrologist in Kampala, Uganda.
