Biologist, Sarawak Energy

Jenny Choo (MSc) is a Biologist from Sarawak Energy, Malaysia, whose work involves conducting research on environmental issues and impacts of hydropower development and operation, particularly on the measurement and analysis of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions from hydropower reservoir and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) at hydropower stations. Her previous research work and interest includes microbial biotechnology and physiology, which involves studying bacteria and endophytic fungi for their bioremediation potential towards heavy metal, antimicrobial properties, as well as their protein expression in relation to their resistance mechanism towards heavy metals.
