Climate Resilience Investments Analyst, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

As climate resilience investments analyst, Peter Baum leads the work of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on mainstreaming climate resilience into investment operations in road transport, the built environment and the power and sectors across the EBRD’s countries of operation – particularly in Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean.

Peter Baum is especially interested in the impacts of climate change on broader energy systems, and how economies can respond and adapt to such challenges. He previously worked on renewable energy and energy infrastructure finance with the European Commission and in the private sector.

Peter holds a double masters degree in international economics and energy policy from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Science from ETH Zurich.
