Ragna Arnadottir

Deputy CEO, Landsvirkjun

Ragna Árnadóttir joined Landsvirkjun Renewable Energy Company in 2010, first as executive vice president, and from 2012, as deputy CEO. Her previous positions include Icelandic minister of justice from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, she was director of legal affairs in the Ministry of Justice from 2002 until 2008. Ragna Árnadóttir held the position of senior adviser for the Nordic Council´s Secretariat, based in Stockholm/Copenhagen from 1995 until 1999, and worked as a legal expert for the Parliament of Iceland from 1991 until 1995. She is currently chair of the Icelandic Growth Forum as well as a board member of Saga Film ehf. She holds a European Affairs LLM from the University of Lund in Sweden, which she gained in 2002, and completed her Cand. Jur law degree from the University of Iceland in 1991.
