Olivia joined the Research and Policy team as an intern in February 2021. She will play a role in assisting deliver several projects such as the International Forum on Pumped Storage Hydropower, the Sector Monitoring and Hydropower Status Report 2021, and the World Hydropower Congress in Costa Rica.
Olivia holds a MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia. Her educational background in environmental studies has developed a strong technical and social understanding of global energy, water, and climate challenges.
Prior to joining IHA, Olivia interned at PCL Construction in Houston, Texas on the Health, Safety, and Environment team, helping deliver a robust Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan to reduce the environmental impact of a high-profile construction project.
Olivia had an international upbringing and has lived in the United States, China, and Thailand before pursuing higher education in the United Kingdom. She speaks English and Swedish fluently.
