WANG Lin

President, China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG)

Wang Lin is President of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), China’s largest clean energy corporation and the world’s largest hydropower enterprise. He joined CTG in March of 2014 and has been dedicated to the dispatch operation and management research on the Three Gorges Project and other cascade power stations in the basin. He is leading the preparation and construction of the world-class Wudongde and Baihetan hydropower projects, as well as the completion of the Three Gorges Ship Lift, the largest worldwide.

Wang Lin also plays a leading role in bringing the Chinese hydropower industry chain overseas, and has made efforts in shaping the brand name featuring Chinese hydro expertise.

As a leading figure in the Chinese energy sector, Wang Lin has made a remarkable contribution to the sustainability of hydro development both at home and abroad.

Before joining CTG, Wang Lin was vice president of the China Datang Corporation, responsible for the construction and operation of many water conservancy and hydropower projects, including Longtan, Yantan, Guanyinyan, Yinpan phase II, and the Tingzikou project. He has made systemic research and attainments in hydro corporate culture and brand management, project management, risk management and safety management.
