Kiran joined the IHA in July 2023 as a Communications and Advocacy Officer. He is responsible for developing external and internal content across IHA's communications channels. He covers the East, South and Central Asian & Pacific regions for member relations and content amplification.

With three years’ experience in climate change, energy and net zero, Kiran brings industry knowledge to the Communications team.

He has previously worked as a climate journalist, presenting documentaries covering the impacts of geothermal energy in Iceland and wind in Singapore.

Kiran holds a BA in History from the University of Sussex.

He speaks competent Spanish, is conversational in Italian and Bengali – and knows how to order a beer in Bulgarian!
