The China Hydroower Development Forum (CHDF) is a grand gathering in the hydropower industry of China, and has been held before Spring Festival every year since 1995. It grows out of the Hydropower Spring Festival Party.

CHDF provides a networking and communication platform for new and old hydropower workers and hydropower organisations in China.

The event will bring together about 300 people in the field of hydropower, coming from large enterprise groups, financing institutes, construction companies, design institutes, operators, manufacturers, research institutions and universities, as well as governments, professional committees, state-owned and private enterprises, media etc.

China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR) is the organising partner of this event.
