Dennis Hogan

Mr. Hogan has twenty-five years’ experience in the planning, investigation, analysis, design, permitting, and construction inspection of dam rehabilitation projects, construction of dams, hydropower, and heavy civil engineering projects. Dennis holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Drexel University.

He has been published in technical proceedings for the International Commission on Large Dams, the British Dams Society, and the Chinese National Committee on Large Dams.  Dennis has presented dam and hydropower topics for the Australian Water Association and sat on expert panels for United Nations Water Week (2023) and for the United States Society on Dams, Alternative Delivery Methods Workshop (2025).

Dennis is active in the dam and hydropower industry with the International Hydropower Association, National Hydropower Association, and Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO).
