Our head office is in Bad Vilbel (near Frankfurt) in Germany. In April 2025, Lahmeyer became part of palero capital GmbH, based in Munich, Germany.

The history of Lahmeyer begins with the founding of W. Lahmeyer & Co. on September 30, 1890 – a pioneering company in electrification. The company was active internationally from an early stage. In the tradition of our founder Wilhelm Lahmeyer, our name still stands for independent engineering services at the highest level – a development that we continue with passion and innovative strength.

Under the umbrella of the IHA, companies, associations and experts active in the field of hydropower have gathered. This enables mutual direct exchange and the further development of the industry in the face of current challenges such as climate change. We are an active part of this process.
