Bose Sumantraa has joined the International Hydropower Association (IHA) as the Indian Regional Lead, representing IHA in collaboration with ProClime. In this role, Bose is committed to advancing sustainable hydropower and pumped storage initiatives across India, leveraging his extensive international experience in policies and market growth and passion for renewable energy.

With over 10+ years dedicated to accelerating the global energy transition, Bose has developed a profound understanding of sustainable practices through both his european academic achievements and professional endeavors for companies in India, Netherlands, Denmark, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Portugal. He holds a research master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from the Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by specialised studies in Wind Energy at Delft University of Technology.

Outside of his professional life, Bose is an avid football player and has actively participated in local leagues during his study and work in the Netherlands, reflecting his dedication to teamwork and perseverance both on and off the field.
