Prof. Dr. Ir. Gensheng Zhao is China Regional Lead at the International Hydropower Association (IHA). He is a senior expert in hydraulic engineering, hydropower, inland waterway infrastructure and flood risk management, with extensive experience in research, technical consultancy and international cooperation. Based in Nanjing, China, he works closely with government agencies, research institutions and industry partners and is committed to strengthening collaboration between China and the global hydropower community.
