Sam Waterkeyn joined IHA in June 2025 as a Membership Officer. In this role, he supports IHA’s global membership relations, business development, and strategic partnerships.

Sam brings over two years of experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on development, education, and climate initiatives. His previous roles included collaborating with private sector partners to fund development programmes and working as a journalist for an international development NGO.

He holds a First-Class Honours Degree in History from the University of Edinburgh and a Certificate in Social Sciences and Humanities from Sciences Po, Paris. Sam is competent in German and conversational in French.
