The 38th IAHR World Congress, with the central theme 'Water – Connecting the World', will take place between 1 and 6 September 2019 in Panama City, Panama. The event aims to provide a platform for science and practice to meet. Workshops and training will be available, while an exhibition alongside the congress will present the latest developments in equipment, software and instrumentation.
The event is inviting authors to electronically submit abstracts on six themes: hydraulic structures, ports and coastal engineering, hydro-environment, water management and hydro-informatics, river and sediment management, and climate change and extreme events.
Abstracts should be between 300 to 400 words and in English. Authors can submit no more than two abstracts as the first author. Authors of the accepted abstracts are requested to submit the corresponding full-length papers in due time, and are expected to pay the registration fees and present their papers at the event. The submission deadline for abstracts is 30 December 2018.
