Amina Suleiman - A Hydropower Hero

Amina is a Crane Operator with Mainstream, where she works every day to move the heavy materials that help make hydropower projects possible.

Her work is a reminder that there is a place for women in every part of the power sector, including the hands-on roles that keep major energy projects moving.

Amina is proud to contribute to powering Nigeria and to be part of the people working behind the scenes to make hydropower happen. This Global Hydropower Day, we’re celebrating Amina and the many Hydropower Heroes whose work helps keep the world’s energy secure.

With hydropower, we can keep the world energy secure.
