Sujan Ghimire - Hydropower Hero

Meet Sujan Ghimire, a Hydropower Hero!

Sujan Ghimire, Regional Lead, Dams and Hydropower, PNG at SMEC, is helping harness Papua New Guinea’s hydropower potential to support a more sustainable and reliable energy future.

For Sujan, delivering sustainable energy solutions means working closely with clients and local communities to build projects that create lasting value.

Hydropower harnesses domestic natural resources, supports local jobs and can keep economic value circulating within communities for decades.

With hydropower, we can keep the world energy secure.

This Global Hydropower Week, we’re celebrating the people behind hydropower and the Hydropower Heroes working around the world to build a more secure energy future.
