COP30

Brazil, a global renewable powerhouse and host of COP30, is uniquely positioned to drive the energy transition both domestically and internationally. This launch marks the beginning of a coordinated effort to align corporate ambition, policy action, and public engagement on the road to Belém and to showcase a unified private sector voice calling for ambitious, actionable outcomes at COP30.
COP30 Action Agenda aims to scale and accelerate climate action by highlighting repeatable and scalable solutions across sectors and engaging non-party stakeholders like businesses, civil society, and subnational governments.
IHA will be attending and joining the Global Renewables Alliance at the pavilion to progress growth to triple renewable energy generation, including hydropower, to promote the importance of providing long duration energy storage like pumped storage hydropower.
