Announcing IHA's 2025-2027 Board Members

The members of the International Hydropower Association have elected 18 industry leaders to serve on the Board for the 2025–27 term. Over the next two years, the Board will steer IHA’s work to advance sustainable hydropower worldwide.
The new Board will begin its mandate at the 2025 International Forum on Pumped Storage, taking place in Paris, France. The election drew candidates from every region around the world and resulted in a diverse group of hydropower experts with deep sector experience.
IHA Chief Executive Officer Eddie Rich said: “I would like to congratulate all our Board members, in particular those elected for the first time. The time is now to recognise sustainable hydropower’s critical role in the transition to a secure and reliable energy future.
“Hydropower’s ability to deliver secure, flexible and resilient power has never been more important. Our new Board will play a crucial role in strengthening hydropower’s contribution to building more future-proof energy systems.”
At its first meeting on 8 September, the Board will appoint a Chair and up to six Vice Chairs.
